Doniphan and Wood River LWML’S are inviting you and your LWML Groups to the GI Zone LWML Fall Rally on Oct. 14, 2023 to be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Doniphan.
If you plan to attend, please let Lisa Wright know by Oct. 1st and she will RSVP for All. Guests and walk-ins are welcome. Registration will be at 8:30am with LUNCH at noon. The Theme is “That They Shall Not Walk Alone”.The presenter is Pastor Lynn Christensen, former Navy Chaplain, now a LCMS Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth, NE. Ingathering will raise money for the LCMS ministry to the Armed Forces. We are asking each group to bring names of their church members that are currently serving in the service. Please let the church office know by Oct. 1st any service persons in your family.

You’re Invited – Rick and Beverly Gilbert’s Retirement Party Sunday, October 8th 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Cairo Community CenterRick and Bev are retiring, Rick will retire after 45 years of driving trucks and Beverly will retire after 50 years as a Registered Nurse. Their children invited everyone to come to help celebrate Rick & Bev’s retirement, plus their birthdays and 41 yrs. of marriage. They will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, green beans, salads, and cake to celebrate the afternoon!
