Sunday School Begins – Sunday September 18th
Today the Sunday School teachers will be installed during worship along with the distribution of Bibles to the 1st Graders and Bibles and Catechisms to the 5th Graders. Following Worship everyone is invited to stay for food and fellowship as we celebrate RALLY Day and Family Game Day with Games and Potluck Dinner.

HLHS BLOOD DRIVE
On Monday, September 12th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, the Heartland Lutheran National Honor Society Students will be hosting a Blood Drive for the Red Cross. Please consider coming in to make a donation and helping them reach their goal of over 30 usable units –reaching 30 usable units will make HLHS students eligible for a Scholarship through the Red Cross. Your donation will not only help the Community but HLHS students as well.   Please sign up online, via the Blood Donor App, or contact the HLHS office at 308-385-3900 for a donation time.

Please JOIN us this SUNDAY – September 11 for RALLY SUNDAY!

*Attached you will find a letter from the Sunday School Superintendent and Board of Education please read and keep, to stay up to date with what is happening in Sunday School this year. 

Rally Sunday will begin at 9:00 a.m. Sunday School Children will join together for fun and fellowship. Adult Bible Study will be in the fellowship hall during this time. 

10 a.m. will be Coffee and Fellowship time.

10:30 a.m. Worship Services with Installation of Sunday School teachers and Substitutes. Following installation the 1st Grade students will be presented with a bible by their teacher. The 5th graders will be presented with a Holy Bible and Catechism by their teacher. The Bibles and Catechisms have been provided by the church and the Ladies Aid Group.

Noon – Following worship you are invited to stay for Potluck Dinner and FUN and FELLOWSHIP! Please bring a dish to share in the fellowship and excitement of the beginning of the church school year.
