The Ladies Aid would like to thank Whitefoot’s for the wonderful meal they prepared Ash Wednesday, that was hosted by the Ladies Aid. A special thank you also to all of those who attended and for your donations toward the Cairo Community Food Pantry in the amount of $850.00 dollars.
HFH WORKDAY – Volunteers Needed – Habitat for Humanity house #111 located at 2085 Nelson Lane in Grand Island is the next house that we will be working on. Christ Cairo is scheduled for Sat. March 19th for oil pans, form and pour crawl space walls. If you are available to volunteer, please let Lee Echtenkamp know (308-850-8816) Volunteers need thick soled shoes and appropriate construction clothing and a pair of work gloves
Wednesday March 9th Lent Supper – You are invited on Weds. March 9th for the Lent supper. Whitefoots will prepare the Lenten meal featuring Windsor Loin. The proceeds from the free will offering will defray cost for the Middle School Youth Gathering in November. Kids that will be going into 6-8th grade are eleigible for the conference. We welcome kitchen help & desserts Weds. For the meal from parents and kids of that age group. Please let Jaci or Jennyu know if you can Volunteer.
